Electrical Aftercare Engineer

HBS Aftercare are looking to recruit an experienced and fully qualified electrical aftercare engineer to carry out general electrical maintenance works on new build residential sites across the South and home counties. We will expect you to work to a strict programme, where punctuality and quality of workmanship is key. This is a permanent position offering an attractive salary of circa £28- 35k per annum depending on qualifications and experience. Closing Date 3rd November.

Customer Care Administrator

An excellent opportunity has arisen within our award-winning Aftercare division for an experienced Customer Care Administrator. The permanent role is to support the Aftercare Manager and Aftercare Office Manager with customer service and administration duties for all plumbing & electrical jobs, providing the highest quality customer service to our clients and their customers at all times. Start your career with a HBS Apprenticeship

 

We believe taking on apprentices improves productivity, strengthens workforces and improves motivation among our people. It also increases the amount of skilled labour available to work on our projects as the group continues to expand.

Our successful apprenticeships provide an exciting opportunity for young people wishing to pursue a career in mechanical, electrical and renewable energy services. We offer fully comprehensive hands-on training which many employers and young people can benefit from.

As a leading integrated building services provider we have the experience and expertise to harness young talent, and train them to learn and work to the highest standard. We continually invest in developing our apprenticeship scheme as part of our commitment to improving learning, education and development, whilst helping to reduce the shortage of skilled engineers in the South.

 

What we offer our apprentices

 

The HBS Apprenticeship Scheme is delivered in partnership with a local network of colleges, delivering the best training in the industry. We currently have over fifty apprentices working for us across our mechanical, electrical and new energies divisions. Many of our apprentices remain with HBS Group Southern once they have completed their training and progress further within the company.

All apprentices will attend college one day per week in term time for up to four years. Outside of college apprentices will spend valuable time accompanying one of our qualified engineers on site learning their trade of choice.

  • Trained by our own qualified engineers who have a wealth of experience and are experts in their field
  • Gain a City and Guilds NVQ qualification levels 2 and 3 when they have completed their apprenticeship
  • Competitive rates of pay on offer and all associated employment costs, on the job training are covered by HBS
  • Provision of all personal protective equipment
  • Age dependent, all college fees are paid for by the college that the apprentice attends, with HBS making a contribution as necessary
  • Career progression opportunities within the group
  • Opportunity to purchase premium quality tools and equipment through HBS at discounted rates
