HBS Mechanical complete plumbing installation package for Bridge House, a development of 55 apartments at the final phase of Berkeley Homes regeneration of Royal Clarence Marina in Gosport.

In October 2019 Berkeley Homes (Southern) appointed HBS Mechanical as its trusted plumbing and heating contractor for Bridge House, the final phase of the Royal Clarence Marina redevelopment in Gosport.

The former Royal Naval victualing yard has been sympathetically transformed by Berkeley Homes over the last decade to include almost 700 new homes both converted and new build in a mixture of tenures and more than 85,000 sq. ft of commercial space.

As the 8-month project approached completion the COVID-19 pandemic hit. This saw Berkeley Homes adapt site operating procedures and refine the programme allowing critical works at Phase NM7 Bridge House to continue during the lockdown. After overcoming material shortages, HBS Mechanical successfully completed plumbing works, handing over of 55 shared ownership units in line with safety protocols and delivery targets.

Bridge House is the final piece of the £100m major urban regeneration project delivered by Berkeley Homes on behalf of The Guinness Partnership, one of the UK’s largest housing and care providers. The 4-storey new building offers 55 x1 and 2-bed high-specification apartments in a prime waterfront position overlooking the Royal Clarence Marina.
