HBS New Energies completes 92.7 kWp new build solar contract at David Wilson Homes Oakhill Gardens, helping to ensure the project meets its energy targets.
Barratt David Wilson Homes (Southampton) appointed HBS New Energies as their new build solar PV contractor to design and install roof-integrated PV systems to 91 new low-carbon homes at Oakhill Gardens in Swanmore, Hampshire.
The team designed a cost-effective PV solution to meet the specific energy targets and help ensure all dwellings achieved the Level 4 Code for Sustainable Homes standard for energy and water.
Now complete, Oakhill Gardens features a selection of 1, 2, 3 and 4 and 5-bedroom homes, with 36 units allocated for affordable rent and shared ownership. Each property benefits from energy-efficient and sustainable technologies including solar panels.
Alongside the New Energies division, Barratt David Wilson Homes (Southampton) appointed HBS Mechanical to deliver the plumbing and heating package for 91 properties at Oakhill Gardens. Our project team completed all 1st, 2nd and final plumbing and heating system installations to a high quality standard in line with production targets.
